Introduction
This project is dedicated to fostering creativity, collaboration, and sustainability through modular urban farming components. The 3D-printable designs are meant to be building blocks, explicitly crafted to be modular and extendable—just like a set of Legos for urban gardening and beyond.
Our goal is to empower individuals and communities to create vibrant urban spaces filled with plants, free edibles, and innovative setups that promote shared knowledge and skills. By encouraging the adaptation and expansion of these designs, we aim to:
That is why we open sourced the main elements of our original Vertical Barrel project to the commons. Feel free to download, assemble, modify, improve and play with by 3D-printing them for your self or your project. Alternatively users can always get injection molded pieces that are more durable and practical from aponix or any other user who wants to invest into his own series tooling for our opensourced and extended parts from other contributors.

Whether it’s a vertical garden, a wind-powered generator, or a grey water filter, the possibilities are endless when creative minds work together. We welcome you to use, extend, and share your ideas to help grow a network of sustainable urban farming solutions.
By contributing to this project, you join a movement to build greener, more collaborative cities — one modular element at a time.
