- for a standalone soil-less barrel. In this case it serves as reservoir and place for your pump. The base holds ~34 liters of water (diameter ~56cm, height ~18cm).
- for a standalone soil-based barrel. Here it serves as wicking bed reservoir
- for a water filter setup.
If you like to add fittings there are 3 flat areas around this base (max diameter of holes 90mm) that can be drilled individually to connect many of those bases into a larger combined reservoir. Here you can find the appropriate parts for tanking and overflow.
